Manali, Himachal Pradesh · schools & workshops

Skills that scale, from soil to silicon.

Hands-on workshops in AI, regenerative farming, wilderness skills, basic robotics, and eco construction — for schools, companies, and anyone who'd rather build than sit through a slide deck.

What we teach

Five disciplines, all built by doing

Every workshop ends with something made — a working circuit, a growing system, a camp set up right, a wall standing. Each pillar runs as a standalone workshop, from a half-day taster to a multi-day intensive.

Farming

Aquaponics, hydroponics & permaculture

Groups build a working hydroponic or aquaponic system and take home a working principle, not just a worksheet.

Practical, systems-based growing — learned by building.
Outdoors

Wilderness, camp & Leave No Trace skills

Hikes, camp setup, outdoor cooking, navigation, and Leave No Trace ethics — taught where they actually apply.

Run with local outdoor guides and experienced practitioners.
Basic robotics

Circuits, code, sensors & motors

Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi — students wire circuits, write basic code, and get sensors and motors doing real things.

Boards, sensors and components provided — no prior electronics needed.
Eco construction

Building with earth

Rammed earth, hempcrete, and building with local materials — often as a hands-on showcase-wall project.

Workshops conducted in collaboration with local natural builders and experts in the field.

Who it's for

Same pillars, three different formats

01

Schools

Half-day experience days, one-off workshops, or a term-long after-school club — the hands-on module a school doesn't have the tools or instructors to run itself.

02

Companies

Offsites and CSR days built around a real skill, not just an activity — an AI sprint, a sustainability build, a wilderness-skills day.

03

Individuals

Weekend intensives and small-cohort camps for anyone who wants to learn one of these skills properly, hands in the work.

About

Built by a practitioner, run with the right people

I-Scale is run by a solo developer and builder based in Manali with hands-on experience building real projects with AI — including Claude. Alongside that, practical exposure through past work and travel shaped the rest of the program.

The founder leads the AI pillar directly and coordinates across the rest of the program, working with local guides and field experts along the way.

Experience & collaborations
NOLS, Rishikesh
The National Outdoor Leadership School — time spent there building core wilderness and outdoor skills.
Navdanya, Dehradun
A regenerative agriculture organization founded by Vandana Shiva — time spent there developing hands-on farming skills.
FOR8
An organic food company — brief prior working collaboration that informed the farming pillar's practical side.
Organic farms, North East India
Practical exposure to organic and regenerative growing practices through farms in the region.

Bring a workshop to your school, team, or weekend.

Tell us which pillar, roughly how many people, and where — we'll work out the format from there.
